Jan Byyny is a Virginia based Event rider who has had great success, and has been ranked a top US Lady rider. In 2006 Jan had the opportunity to be the alternate for the Olympics. 2005, Jan was the second highest placed American and then she was also seventh at the World Cup in Malmo Sweden, but was the highest placed American. Jan has won the Bronze at the Pan American Games for individual and was apart of the winning Team Gold at the Pam American Games. In 2004, she was an alternate to the US Olympic Team. Jan owns a stable called Surefire Eventing where she buys, sells, trains horses and also teaches many upper and lower level eventers.
