2009 was an exciting year at Ingram Training Stable. The results at the South Florida Reining Horse Assoc. were especially exciting. Jon and Seth were 2nd and 1st respectively in the Limited Open Div. Seth will receive a saddle for the 1st place. Lauri placed 2nd in the Limited Non-Pro Div. and was 1st in the Prime Time Non-Pro Div.. Seth won 1st place and a saddle for owner Jimmy Tucker in the Intermediate Open Div. We were so proud of all our non-pro competitors. They are great!

Jon Ingram grew up in Southern California with the traditions of the California reined cowhorse, which emphasizes lightness and finesse. He trained his first horse when he was ten years old and hasn't looked back since. John worked with renowned stock horse trainer, Ronnie Richards in Southern California. For over thirty years Jon has successfully trained and shown working cowhorses, cutting horses, as well as his specialty, reining horses. He uses his thorough training program to improve horses from a variety of disciplines and is a constant and enthusiastic student of anything equine. He never quits learning or trying to improve his methods. Jon has earned nine world and national titles and has trained non-pro riders and their horses to become competitive partners at NRHA shows.

Jon attended Cal Poly in Pomona, California majoring in Animal Husbandry. He has supported and promoted the sport of reining for more than twenty years. He was a founder and the first President of the Idaho Reining Horse Assoc. He continues to share his enthusiasm for the sport in Florida. Jon is an excellent equine dentist and finds time in his busy schedule to do a limited amount of equine dentistry. Jon and his wife, Lauri have three children and five grandchildren.

Seth Ingram grew up in Idaho and Wyoming where he was put in the saddle by his parents before he could walk or talk. He started to train his own horses by the time he was eight years old and began showing reining horses when he was just ten years old. Seth has always had a passion for training and showing these remarkable equine athletes. Seth trained and showed reining horses to several titles on behalf of Ed Fear Quarter Horses and Double J Ranch from 2002-2005. He was a Top Ten rider in two open divisions of the NRHA in 2002. Seth has competed at the National Reining Horse Futurity the last two years and looks forward to competing on his present futurity prospect in 2010.
