Jimmie Smith is a young girl who is currently competing in Barrels and Poles with a number of different horses that she owns, this young competitor has swept the prizes in 2006 with winning 24 buckles, 12 saddles and 2 trailers. Also she competed in such events as; Central Texas Youth Rodeo Association Year End All Around, Year End Barrel champ and Finals All Around in 2006, Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association Finals Contestant- the youngest competitor of 2006, Junction Youth Rodeo All Around Trailer Winner, and many more. Some Future plans for this young super star is that she is planning to be in the top ten at the 2007 Josey JR. World and to one day make the NER.
